Our Mission

The Sherborn Council on Aging was established at the Special Town Meeting in 1972 for the purpose of coordinating and carrying out programs designed to meet the problems of the aging in Sherborn. Our mission is to provide advocacy and support systems for our senior citizens by working with them to maintain and improve their independence and quality of life. Our goals are to assess the needs of the elderly, develop services and programs to meet those needs, and to increase and strengthen volunteer participation and support.
