Spend a Day at Blithewold, Wednesday, May 14, 2008 Join the Dover-Sherborn COA Travel Group on a
trip to Blithewold, one of the finest garden estates in New England. This
day trip to Bristol, Rhode Island will include touring the mansion and garden,
along with a stop at a restaurant for lunch. Enjoy the spring blooms and good
company. Depart at 8:30am from Woodhaven Elderly Housing on 2 Village Way.
Return late in the afternoon. Cost is $35 for the Blithewold tour, motor

Four-Day Maine Tour of Bar Harbor, Boothbay Harbor and
Acadia National Park, June 2-5 Enjoy an unforgettable beginning to
summer with this relaxing trip to Maine. Enjoy the spectacular views of
landscape and wildlife in pristine Acadia National Park. Delight in the
treasures of Bar Harbor, a small coastal town on Mount Desert Island, that
blends ambiance with Down East character. Feast your eyes on the meandering
wildflower-studded country roads, quiet coves and shoreline lighthouses of

Tanglewood Concert with James Levine, July 13
Come
join the Dover-Sherborn Councils on Aging as we travel to Stockbridge for lunch
at the Red Lion Inn and Lenox for a special Tanglewood program conducted by
James Levine.
Tanglewood is
the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The
program, featuring Peter Serkin, consists of
Haydn
Symphony No. 104, JS Bach Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor, Mozart Concerto
Rondo in D and Schubert Symphony No. 4. The cost of the trip is $95, and
includes coach bus transportation, admission ticket to Tanglewood and lunch at
the Red Lion Inn. The trip is open to seniors and all Dover/Sherborn

Wonders of Alaska, August 23- August 30, 2008
Join us aboard the stunning Norweigian Star for its second season in
these brilliant northern waters. You'll be surrounded by the breathtaking
beauty of Alaska on a ship with world-class amenities. This 8-day, 21 meal
tour will take you to the exquisite Inside Passage, with stops in Ketchikan,
Prince Rupert, Juneau and Skagway. Cruise Sawyer Glacier which is framed by
7,000 foot-high snowcapped mountains. This trip includes round-trip

New Orleans Getaway, October 13-17, 2008
Enjoy the ultimate getaway to New Orleans, the "Jazz Capital of the World"!
Spend each night of your tour in the heart of the French Quarter amidst the
sounds of Jazz, streetcars and steamboats. Enjoy an exciting Jazz revue on
famous Bourbon Street at the Maison Bourbon. Dine amid fountains and gaslights
at the world-reknown Court of the Two Sisters, on famous and infamous Rue

The Travel Committee has met and is looking to put together a
number of interesting trips this year. If you missed the first meeting,
